Book Deal for Den Patrick with HarperVoyager UK

While I sit and watch the Twitter stream of everyone enjoying themselves at Worldcon in Helsinki - I do get rather jealous...but I at least do have some exciting things happening. Yesterday I announced signing a new author to the list and today am able to announce a deal for my fabulous client Den Patrick and his hugely exciting new fantasy series. So not too shabby! :-)

Home of George R. R. Martin (UK), Robin Hobb, Joe Abercrombie and Mark Lawrence - and let's not forget Tolkien - Voyager has a long, established history in publishing groundbreaking fantasy and we're thrilled to be working with them. Publishing Director of Voyager, Natasha Bardon, spoke about the deal over at Fantasy Faction. And also showed off the haunting cover.

Witchsign is book one in the Ashen Torment trilogy and is full of magic, betrayal, politics and friendship - everything you would want to read in an exciting new fantasy series. Den's a fabulous writer and has taken inspiration from Norse mythology and Russian Fairytales to create an original and intricate world with strong and memorable characters. I can't wait for this one to hit the shelves in May next year so you can all fall in love with it as much as I did!
